Carob, an unknown treasure
Carob is a legume of Mediterranean origin with a sweet taste, used as a substitute for chocolate, which has a very complete nutritional contribution and healing properties that are rapidly increasing interest in this forgotten food.
The carob tree produces a dark brown pod, which contains the seeds of the carob tree. These seeds are rich in tannins that give it an important antioxidant power to prevent diseases and fight aging, in addition to its high content of vitamins and minerals.
